Makerere University Research and Innovations Fund (Mak-RIF) College of Education and External Studies Open Day

We are happy to be executing activities marking the Makerere University College of Education and External Studies Open Day on October 7, 2021, starting at 9:30 am EAT. This engagement will be officiated by Uganda’s First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Hon. Janet Kataha Museveni.

Since FY 2019/20, the Mak-RIF fund is supporting 710 multidisciplinary research and innovation projects across the various colleges. The College of Education and External Studies has obtained 36 grants across the three financial years, worth approximately Ugx. 4.3 billion. It is upon this background that the Mak-RIF Secretariat in collaboration with Makerere University College of Education and External Studies (CEES) is organizing an Open Day to showcase some of the outputs that have arisen from the different research and innovation projects in line with objective 2 of the Fund. We will host some of these projects with many participants joining in virtually (Registration is open on http://rif.mak.ac.ug/cees-openday). After registration, check your email inbox for a confirmation email and Zoom Link log-in details.
